Winch design is the single, most influential factor in determining fibre rope life, due to fatigue and the generation of heat. Deep Tek believes the drum winch to be the best technical solution to both potential failure mechanisms, as its single barrel induces a minimum number of bends.
Hence the development of the Company’s unique drum profile which creates even layering of the fibre rope without cutting-in.
